Layla had always dreamed of studying abroad. She had applied to three universities, but she hadn’t heard back from any of them. Every morning, she checked her email with a mix of hope and fear.
One rainy afternoon, she was sitting in her room, feeling discouraged. Her mother knocked on the door and said, “Layla, a letter came for you.”
Layla’s heart started beating fast. She took the envelope with trembling hands. It was from her dream university.
She opened it slowly and read the first line: “Congratulations! You have been accepted into our Master’s program.”
Layla screamed with joy. Her mother ran into the room, and they hugged each other, crying happy tears.
“I can’t believe it!” Layla said. “All those years of hard work have finally paid off.”
That night, she called her best friend, Farah, who lived in another city. “Farah, I have some amazing news. I will be moving to London next month!”
Farah laughed. “I always knew you would make it. This is just the beginning of your big adventure.”
Layla looked out the window. The rain had stopped, and a rainbow appeared in the sky. She smiled and whispered to herself, “This is my unexpected gift.”
